WHAT WE BELIEVE

THE HOLY SCRIPTURES
We believe that the Holy Bible in its original form is the inerrant, infallible, and divinely-inspired word of God and that it is the ultimate authority for us as believers to be used as guidance for faith and truth for daily living. We believe that the Holy Scriptures are the living word of God.
THE GODHEAD
We believe in a triune God who has existed eternally as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are three persons who are co-eternal in being, co-equal in power and glory, and co-identical in nature.

GOD THE FATHER
We believe that there is only one true living God who created all things out of nothing and continues to sustain the Earth.

GOD THE SON

We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and is God himself revealed in physical form to us, that he is God but also man conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, that his sacrificial death and resurrection are the only way for an unbeliever to be saved from eternal punishment in the lake of fire, that he has reconciled us with God the Father, and that we are justified through our faith in Him.
GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, baptises believers into the body of Christ giving them gifts of ministry, seals them unto the day of redemption, and indwells believers.

TOTAL DEPRAVITY OF MAN
We believe that mankind was made in the image and likeness of God but became estranged from God when Adam sinned. Sin separated man from God to such a depraved state that man is not able to remedy on his own. The only way to remedy man’s condition is by believing in JesusChrist’s sacrifice on the cross and his resurrecting power through which one can be justified.

We believe in salvation through the blood of JesusChrist after professing that we believe JesusChrist died on the cross as atonement for our sins.
SALVATION AND ATONEMENT
SANCTIFICATION AND JUSTIFICATION
We believe that upon salvation, we are washed of our sins and rebirthed into a sanctified state. We are justified by Jesus’ sacrifice which satisfied the debt of all our sins.

ORDINANCES
We believe that baptism by full immersion in water is necessary for all believers and serves as a public profession of faith. This is an initiation into a body of believers.

ORDINANCES
We believe that the Lord’s Supper is an ordinance of the New Testament, that the bread and wine serve as a reminder of JesusChrist’s sacrifice for humanity, that partaking in it exemplifies our need for God’s nourishment in order to become closer to Jesus, and that it brings us closer to God as we examine ourselves before partaking in it.
